A Letter to Our Bruno’s Patrons

To our amazing Bruno’s supporters,

After 13 years at 1226 Fourth Street, we have made the difficult decision not to re-open Bruno’s on Fourth.

Since March 16th, when everything came to an abrupt halt, this journey has had many twists and turns, eventually leading us to this decision. This was not an easy decision and one that we questioned all along. Eventually, the owner of the building decided to put it up for sale. We weighed all our options and in the end concluded that it didn’t make sense to purchase the building, especially with the uncertainty of restaurants in general moving forward.

While this has been a very emotional time, there has also been an amazing amount of comfort knowing that everything that made Bruno’s so wonderful is coming with us to Ricky’s Eastbound. The food (including our fabulous catering service!), the employees (who are like family to us), and hopefully, YOU, our loyal customers.

There are so many people to thank for our success, too many to name. From our supportive family members, close friends, patient vendors, and so many new customers who are now friends, THANK YOU!

We now look ahead to the long rebuilding process for Ricky’s Eastbound. It will be challenging and uncertain at times, but we are excited to provide another great place for our guests to Eat, Drink & Meet Friends!

Thank you for the memories and all your unbelievable support!

Rick and Linn Bruno

PS – Due to the economic nature of this transition, we ask that you be patient with redeeming your Bruno’s gift cards. We WILL eventually accept them at Ricky’s once we are stable. At this point we do not have a timeline for that, but please know that we WILL honor them.

To our wonderful Ricky's Eastbound community,

Rick Bruno, the “Ricky” behind Ricky’s Eastbound is taking a well-deserved break from being a restaurant chef/ proprietor. After 40 incredible years in the industry Rick is ready for a break from restaurant ownership and has sold Ricky’s to the Ausiello family.

We sincerely express our deep gratitude for your unwavering support during the incredible past 5 years; through fires, blackouts, and the challenges of Covid-19. Your loyalty has been the driving force behind our success, and we truly appreciate each one of you.

Don't worry; Rick will still be whipping up his signature comfort food for your next event. Keep Rick in mind as your trusted caterer - details to follow.

As we say goodbye to Ricky's Eastbound, we welcome "Ausiello's Homeslice" (coming soon). Homeslice will be making a few changes to the restaurant and plan on opening towards the end of 2023.

Warmest regards,
Rick, Linn, and the Ricky's Eastbound Crew
